My husband and I return to Rockbridge, MO every couple of years for a few days of peace and quiet and trout fishing. Last year we had more rain than sun, but when the sun finally came, the trout stream was filled with reflected and filtered light. This is a larger painting (12x24). Along a road between St. Joe and Helena, MO there is a beautiful red gate somewhat hidden in the underbrush. The gate became a painting of its own, but near the road were immense deer tracks.
