The Long Cast

     Rochester Falls is just north of St. Joseph, MO.  The Platte River takes a lazy bend and meets a rock plate and forms the Falls, a popular spot for fishing, camping and canoeing.
     The water is 3-6 ft deep through here except for a deep hole on the far side - just below where that sinking fly is about to land.
     This is a 14x20 pastel painting on artist's pastel board, double matted and framed. SOLD - Prints available
